Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Pediatric Surgery at the Russian National Research Medical University.

Academician of the International Academy of Refrigeration.

Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences.

Laureate of the award of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation.

Author of more than 250 scientific papers. Co-author of 5 textbooks, 6 monographs and manuals, 16 inventions. Under his leadership, 9 candidate's and 7 doctoral dissertations were defended.

For a long time, he was the head of research work on the effects of low temperatures and ultrahigh frequency electromagnetic fields on organs and tissues of the Outpatient Surgery Center of the Filatov Children's City Clinical Hospital №13.

He was the scientific director and consultant of the «Edelweiss» Center for Medicine and Dentistry (LLC «Alexandria 24») on cryosurgical treatment, treatment of benign neoplasms and angiodysplasia in children.
